Doubly Honored: Merritt Hawkins Named Best in Professional and Executive Search

Merritt Hawkins has been recognized as one of the Best Recruiting Firms in America for 2018 by Forbes magazine, which worked with the analytics firm Statista to compile a ranking of the top 250 firms in the country, in two different categories.


This prestigious ranking is based on thousands of recommendations from recruiters, employees and human resources managers.


For their 2018 list of America’s Best Recruiting Firms, Statista and Forbes divided firms into two main categories:

 

  1. Best in Executive Search (specialized in permanent placement of executive positions with at least $100,000 income per year)
  2. Best in Professional Search (specialized in placement of professional and specialist positions up to $100,000 annual income).

Merritt Hawkins, an AMN Healthcare company that focuses on permanent placement for physicians, advanced practitioners and healthcare executives, was ranked in the top 50 of the 250 Best Executive Recruiting Firms in the country, and in the top 100 out of 250 Best Professional Recruiting firms in the country.


Forbes’ lists for 2018 included recruitment firms from all industries, with Merritt Hawkins among just a handful of healthcare staffing firms to be honored.

The Forbes lists of best recruiting firms are based on two surveys that were conducted between December 13, 2017 and February 12, 2018. The client survey queried 4,500 candidates and HR managers as clients of recruitment firms, while the expert survey questioned 30,000 external recruiters who shared their market insights.


As part of the client survey, candidates considered the quality and selection of offered positions, quality of the recruitment process, and quality of communication with recruitment staff.


HR managers’ assessments were based on recruitment firms’ quality and selection of offered candidates; quality of process and communication; understanding of unique company culture; and price-performance ratio for offered services.
