Position Details:
  • Monday through Friday workweek, 8 am to 5 pm approximate work hours
  • Complete screenings and/or behavioral health assessments for program referrals; diagnose mental health and/or addictions problems; develop and coordinate treatment plans for individuals presenting for treatment, specific to the jail setting
  • Collaborate with jail and parole staff to identify clients in jail who present symptoms of mental health or addictions that express a desire for recovery
  • Provide individual, family, and/or group services to individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses in accordance with OARs – case management services, outreach and referral to community resources, and helping clients develop and utilize natural supports
  • May attend court hearings as needed
  • Complete agency documentation regarding client services
  • Complete and provide status reports to referring agencies of services provided to individuals who were referred by them, in accordance with professional agreements and maintaining confidentiality
  • Might occasionally serve on agency crisis team as part of on-call rotation
  • Must have a Master’s Degree
