Stony Brook Medicine’s Palliative Care Program is seeking qualified candidates for faculty positions including the opportunity for leadership as program director of the new ACGME accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship. The incoming candidate will provide inpatient consultation services using an interdisciplinary approach.  A candidate must have passion for diverse and complex patient populations who present at different stages of their illness and have experience caring for cancer patients. The qualified individual must also have proven experience in symptom management, pain management, and navigating complex family dynamics and family meetings.
  • Opportunity for leadership as the program director over the new ACGME accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship.
  • Inpatient consultation services with vast teaching, curriculum development, research, and quality improvement opportunities as desired
  • Work with renowned specialists and a robust referral-based network at the area’s top academic center.
