Candidates must hold an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school, ABIM board certification and recertification if applicable; academic accomplishments that would merit appointment at the associate professor or professorial level in the tenure system; relevant administrative experience; and evidence of effective interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have a record of federal funding, promote research collaborations across the University and the community, attract and develop qualified faculty, oversee clinical activities of the division, and enhance the education of medical students, Internal Medicine Residents and Infectious Disease Fellows.
