Merritt Hawkins has been tasked with the recruitment of an Otolaryngologist to work at a large teaching health system just outside of NYC. 
Merritt Hawkins has been tasked to hire two ENTs to join this large health system.  This is a General ENT position. They need someone who is well rounded in working with both adults and pediatrics. The incoming candidate will expect to see approximately 30 patients in the outpatient clinic two days per week as well as perform 13 to 15 surgeries.  The current ENT performs a mix of cases, including a large amount of Head and Neck, the incoming candidate can expect the same. The ENT will have block time in the O.R.  The call schedule would be 1:4 weekdays and weekends.  This is an academic/teaching position affiliated with New York Medical College, Touro College, Seton Hall School of Health and Medicine, and the University Of New England School Of Osteopathic Medicine.  The incoming ENT will have the opportunity to work with a lot residents and fellows that are involved in the surgical rotations. 
The Offer
  • Employed by the Health System
  • $400,000-$450,000 base salary, based on experience
  • RVU productivity bonus, should earn well over $500,000
  • $20,000 sign on bonus
