A free-standing children’s hospital in an inviting Coastal Virginia location is seeking a qualified physician who holds a double degree in medicine and dentistry. The ideal candidate is trained in both plastic surgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery; fellowship training in craniofacial surgery is also preferred.

  • Help treat patients born with a variety of facial abnormalities, including cleft lip and palate, hemifacial microsomia, Crouzon syndrome, and Pierre Robin sequence
  • Level I trauma center—play an instrumental role in the lives of facial trauma patients
  • 1:4 call schedule
  • Utilize a team-centered approach for optimal treatment results
  • Hospital includes a 25-bed PICU, a 68-bed Level IV NICU, a full-time Pediatric Emergency
  • Department with a Level I pediatric trauma and Level I ACS surgery designation, a 10-room surgical suite with state-of-the-art equipment, and a dedicated support staff
