On behalf of the Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), MillicanSolutions, LLC, an AMN Healthcare Company and a leader in pediatric executive search, is pleased to announce the national search for Pediatric Oncologists to join the Academic Pediatric Oncology Service. MSK’s mission includes research, education, clinical care, advocacy, and community outreach. We are actively seeking physicians that are BE/BC in pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology, who are interested in an academic career and devoted to the care of children with cancer from birth through young adulthood.
Faculty from the Academic Oncology Service serve as pediatric oncologists with special expertise in managing cancer patients both in the inpatient and ambulatory care settings. They care for a range of patients, from patients receiving stem cell transplants and novel cellular therapies to children with relapsed cancer enrolled on clinical trials, and establish continuity of care among our cancer specialists and referring physicians.  The Academic Oncology faculty serve as the key educators of pediatric residents and fellows and conduct important clinical research and quality and safety initiatives within the Department of Pediatrics.  Academic Oncology faculty will have protected time for these academic pursuits.
This search is open to potential candidates at all levels of career experience and appointments will be made at an academic level commensurate with the appointee’s experience.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s Department of Pediatrics is the nation’s largest pediatric cancer program dedicated to the treatment of children, teenagers, and young adults with cancer, immune deficiencies and blood disorders, with more than 800 new patients each year. Comprising leading experts in the treatment of pediatric malignancies and immune deficiencies, over 70 faculty members within the Department of Pediatrics are dedicated to seeking novel approaches to achieve more-effective outcomes while reducing or minimizing the short-and long-term effects of treatment, both in the laboratory and in state-of-the-art clinical facilities.
In addition to treatment, Memorial Sloan Kettering offers a wide range of support services to enhance the quality of life and ease the experience of cancer on families. Care for children, adolescents, or young adults is provided in an adjoined inpatient and outpatient platform that incorporates family-friendly and age-appropriate design.  Contained within the pediatric care platform is also a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for children who require more-intensive inpatient support, and a Procedure Room for onsite anesthesia-staffed procedures.
