We are seeking an Associate Program Director/Ambulatory Director to join an established academic Internal Medicine division at an academic center in Michigan. This faculty member’s role will work to build the residency program to prominence in concert with the acting program director.  

This role will also have responsibility for leading, directing and overseeing activities and operations of the ambulatory services for the outpatient clinics. This role will come with 30% protected time, and a very competitive compensation package. This opportunity is open to internists, rheumatologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, and other specialists. Faculty appointment at the College of Medicine commensurate with academic accomplishment.

  • Lead the administrative charge of the outpatient clinics through the management, coordination, and/or assessment of integrated clinical operations as part of a leadership team tasked with moving clinical operations forward.
  • Assesses and supports clinical efficiencies and enhancements, operational systems, contingency staffing, staff training, strategic operational performance, and patient experience
