Vice President of Medical Affairs
  • Executive level position which reports directly to the Hospital President and  SVP within 11-hospital, not-for-profit system
  • Your office: a 380+ bed hospital, the fast-growing Atlanta suburbs, growing in patient volume and acuity
  • #1 Required Skillset = Past Medical Director of Quality, patient safety, quality improvement, process redesign
  • Join a system with 14,000 team members, 1,000 employed physicians, and 140+ physician offices
  • Lead clinical initiatives aimed at improving quality, safety, patient, and physician satisfaction while managing costs,
  • Experience in reducing the length of stay, improving care coordination, and enhancing clinical productivity is a plus
  • Required: MD or DO, board certified in your specialty, Master’s Degree in Medical Management, MBA, MPH, (required)
  • 10 to 15 years of prior clinical experience
  • 7 years of recent leadership experience in an acute care setting
  • Must possess the appropriate personality to lead current medical staff (big ego need not apply)
  • Knowledge of information technology and facility with EHR and CPOE
