The Department of Academics at Merritt Hawkins has partnered with Emory University School of Medicine and the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology to recruit an experienced physician leader as the Director of the Glenn Family Breast Center. This breast center is within The Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, the only in Georgia. Faculty members at Emory are active in research, medical education, and engaged in clinical care. This is a nationally recognized, but growing, breast cancer program that is in need of a dynamic Breast Medical Oncologist to lead the way.  

Emory is one of only a few universities in the country that have a stand-alone Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology, providing a unique cancer-specific structure. As the Director of the Glenn Family Breast Center, you will have direct oversight of the clinical and scientific research, clinical standards, and faculty development related to the breast cancer program.

  • Seeking a dynamic leader and celebrated Breast Medical Oncologist as the Director of the breast cancer program for the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University
  • Enjoy close and collaborative relationships with a multidisciplinary breast cancer program of over 50 faculty members
  • Responsibilities will include operational oversight and direction of the program, promoting an environment of research excellence and also recruitment for continued growth of the program
